Oct 2007: Kruger Park & Kwazulu Natal Family Safari
"Honey guide was great. They are a young and creative team. Fully customer focused: what would you like to do? Anything else you would like to see ? Lovely attention. The tents are very comfortable and big but give you this adventure feeling. Jabulani is really good for people who want the Colonial full package. Elegant, luxurious and a very well designed elephant riding experience. Vuyatela is the place to meet the animals while sitting on the veranda. Impressive what walks through your garden ! We are very satisfied with the trip. You understood well what we were looking for. Thank you for this success. We will be happy to recommend you further. Best regards from Barcelona" - Michael Brandenburg, Spain
Bushmanskloof rockart and wildlife 3 day tour

Day 1
Depart from Cape Town in the morning and travel over the Piekenaarskloof mountain Pass into the green citrus valleys of the Olifants River. We arrive in the quaint town of Clanwilliam and our route then continues up the Pakhuis Mountain Pass to reach Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve. After checking in to your accommodation there is time to relax (enjoy a swim in one of the natural rock pools in front of the lodge) before afternoon tea. This is followed by a first evening exploration of the reserve on a 4 x 4 open vehicle safari with an experienced ranger. Look out for the rare and endangered Cape Mountain Zebra and Bontebok, Oryx, Eland and Black Gnu amongst many other species. A sundowner from one of the many look out points in the reserve is included. At nightfall return to a traditional barbecue or dinner.

Day 2
Wake up early morning for tea, coffee and biscuits before setting off on a guided walk along the Boontjies River and through the veld to view a number of San (Bushman) rockart sites, many dating back thousands of years. Learn about the San's history and culture and obtain a deeper understanding of their spiritual lives. At the end of the morning return to the lodge for brunch. The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy a walk in the reserve, swim in the rock pools, bird watch, mountain bike or try your hand at fly fishing. There is also a sauna, swimming pool, private library and billiard room on the property. After afternoon tea, there is another game drive in the reserve until sunset. Return to the lodge for dinner

Day 3
Depart early morning for a second guided rock art walk to see some more of the 125 pristine San (Bushman) painting sites on the reserve. Alternatively relax and enjoy the on site facilities, enjoying a farewell brunch before checking out. Arrive in Cape Town at the end of the afternoon.
