The Caprivi Strip, is Namibia's most tropical and lush green region with four rivers flowing along and through it: The Okavango, the Kwando the Chobe and the Zambezi. The region is most accessible from either Victoria Falls or Chobe and provides excellent wetland game viewing opportunities especially for birders. Game viewing is enjoyed by boat or open vehicle.
You can expect to see elephant, hippo, crocodile, sable antelope and the rare wild dog. A highlight to visit in the region is the Epupa Falls, a series of cascades where the Kunene River drops 60m over a distance of about 1.5km, dividing into a multitude of channels and forming a myriad of rock pools.
